Organize pages

Pages are tabs of hot buttons. Keep the hot buttons for one kind of moment together on a page: goals on one, sponsor breaks on another, stoppages on a third.

Switching to a different page does not stop playback.

Add a page

  1. Open Configuration.
  2. Under Show, select Hot buttons.
  3. In the Pages card, select + Add page.

You can also select + next to the page tabs on the hot buttons view.

The new tab appears in the grid immediately, filled with empty hot buttons ready to configure.

The Free plan is limited to one page. On Free, the Pages card shows Free plays one page, and + Add page and Upgrade open the upgrade information. See Plans and limits.

Name and sort pages

In the Pages card, each row is a page. The row shows the page number, the name, how many of its hot buttons are set, and On air while one of its hot buttons is playing.

A row that reads hidden is a page marked hidden, and it does not appear in the grid.

To rename a page:

  1. Select the pencil on the right side of the row.
  2. Type a new name.
  3. Press Enter, or click outside the field. Press Escape to keep the old name.

To change the order of the pages in the grid:

  1. Drag the handle on the left side of the row.
  2. A line shows where the page lands. Release to drop it there.

The change applies immediately.

Remove a page

  1. Select the cross on the right side of the row.
  2. Select Remove page to confirm.

The app removes the page and its hot buttons, and their media stays in the library.

If a page added after the removed page has a hot button playing, that hot button stops. The dialog lists these pages before you confirm. Such a page can sit above the removed page in the grid, because dragging does not change the order in which pages were added. You cannot remove the last page.

Controller keys follow the change. A key for the removed page or one of its hot buttons is cleared. A key for a page added later, or one of its hot buttons, stays with that page and its hot buttons.

No undo

A removed page cannot be restored.

See what plays on a page

A tab shows a badge with the number of hot buttons playing on that page. It helps when you are working on one page and a sound is playing from another.

The Free plan shows only the first page. Pages beyond the limit stay hidden until you move to the Audio plan or higher, and their rows in the Pages card are dimmed.

Move hot buttons between pages

To move hot buttons to a different page, use Select mode. See Edit many hot buttons.

  • Select the hot buttons and drag them onto a page tab. They go to the first free positions on that page, and the grid shows that page.
  • Or select the hot buttons, select Cut, open the other page, select a position and select Move here….
  • To put a copy on a different page, use Copy and Paste here….

Reset the order

  1. In the Pages card, select Reset order….
  2. Select Reset order to confirm.

All pages go back to their original order.

No undo

Do not reset if you want to keep your custom order. The reset discards it, and the hot buttons stay as they are.
