TermMeaning
BusAn audio destination: a name for one or more stereo pairs on your audio devices. How playback works
CabinetThe area of pixels that one LED receiving card controls. You count sections in cabinets. LED boards
CanvasA video destination. It has a size, and it works even when no screen is connected. Canvases, surfaces and displays
Coupled itemA rotation item that plays on two or more sections at the same time. It waits until all of these sections are free. Build a rotation
CueOne segment of a sequence, with media on lanes. Cues play in order, from top to bottom. Build a sequence
Cue pointA marker on a media file that sets where playback starts, stops or loops. Set cue points
Cue setA named group of cue points on one file. A hot button source selects the set to use. Set cue points
Derived valueA team value that the app calculates, for example the players on the court or the time left on a penalty. You cannot change it. Overlays and the live-value store
DisplayA physical screen. The app recognizes the same display after you change the cables or restart. Canvases, surfaces and displays
FieldA named value in the live-value store that an overlay reads, for example a score or a clock. Overlays and the live-value store
FoldingArranging a surface that is too wide for the input of a sending card into rows that fit in that input. Fold onto a sending card
GapTime in a rotation when a section shows nothing, for example when a coupled item waits. The editor shows it hatched and the board shows black. Build a rotation
Hot buttonOne button on the grid. Pushing it plays the media you gave it. Hot buttons, sequences and rotations
Idle contentWhat a canvas shows when no other content claims it: an image, a looped clip or a live input stream, with optional audio. Create a canvas
Input streamA live video feed that the app receives over NDI or SRT. It shows as a tile in the bottom strip. Add an input stream
LaneA row in a sequence cue. It holds the media for one destination: the audio lane, or one screen target. Build a sequence
LED wallA flat grid of LED cabinets that the app controls as one canvas. It plays one picture across its whole surface. LED boards
LegThe claim of a canvas or a bus on one output. A leg is either driven or not. Canvases, surfaces and displays
LevellingTurning each track up or down so that all tracks play at the same loudness (-16 LUFS). Loudness levelling
Live-value storeThe shared set of fields that overlays read. You change these fields during a match. Overlays and the live-value store

MatchOne game: its sport, teams, fields, values and overlays. One match is active at a time. Overlays and the live-value store
NDINetwork Device Interface: a standard for sending video and audio between programs and devices over an ordinary network, without a capture card. Publish a canvas over NDI
OutputA piece of hardware that a canvas or a bus plays on: a screen, LED boards, a network feed or speakers. You create and name it once, for all canvases and buses that use it. Add an output
OverlayGraphics that the app draws on top of a canvas while other content plays below them. Overlays and the live-value store
Overlay directiveAn instruction on one clip of a hot button or cue that shows or hides one overlay when that clip plays. Overlays and the live-value store
