Configuration window

The Configuration window holds the settings you make before an event. To open it, select the Settings tab in the top bar. For the main window, see Main window.

The left navigation has four groups:

  • Show holds your canvases, buses and hot buttons.
  • Venue holds the physical outputs of one place, and how the show connects to them.
  • Sponsors holds sponsors and proof of play.
  • Application holds the settings of ArenaDirector on this computer.

A Pro chip next to Sponsors or Proof of play shows that your plan does not include that pane. The pane then shows Pro required and Upgrade.

Clock source

No two audio devices run at exactly the same speed, so two devices playing the same show drift apart over time if nothing corrects them. Clock source sits in the Patch header as Clock and belongs to the venue. It selects the device whose clock the rest of the show's audio follows:

SettingMeans
AutomaticThe show follows the audio device that is already active. If that device goes away, a different device replaces it.
InternalThe show follows the internal clock of this computer, not an audio device.
A named deviceThe show follows that device, even when other devices are active. If it goes away, the show uses Internal until the device comes back.

All other audio devices adjust continuously to stay in sync with the selected clock.
